WACA is offering its first Safety Excellence Awards!
This is an elite safety recognition focused on best practices that excel in multiple areas of safety and health programs by member contractors. Winning contractors will be selected based on the highest quality of safety program practices. Get the accolades deserved for the excellent safety program and dedication to keeping the workforce safe.

Get your company and key employees recognized for their best practice safety efforts! WACA's safety award gives international recognition to contractor members who manage an effective safety program. Winning companies will be highlighted in a variety of industry trade publications, including The Quarterly magazine. Winners will be invited to and recognized on June 8, 2017 at the Construction Excellence Awards (CEA) Show at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.
Safety Project Categories for the year of 2016
- More Than 1 Million Annual Man-Hours
- Between 500,000 and 1 Million Annual Man-Hours
- Between 250,000 and 500,000 Annual Man-Hours
- Between 125,000 and 250,000 Annual Man-Hours
- Fewer Than 125,000 Annual Man-Hours
Application Process
- Applications will be reviewed & assessed by WCB's safety committee & safety consultant
- Winning companies will be recognized at the CEA Show on June 8th
- Applications should be submitted by: April 17, 2017
