On-the-Job Training Program -- SECOND EXTENSION

Employers, would you like to get some of your hard earned tax dollars back for training new employees?
The Oakland Career Center will pay you for hiring and teaching new employees your operations and procedures through its On-the-Job Training Program.
If you have less than 50 employees you will receive a 90% wage reimbursement for the training period (520 hours) of your new hire.
51 -250 employees is 75% reimbursement
above 250 employees is a 50% reimbursement
The trainee must be treated as any other employee, having a starting wage as other employees in the classification, and you must intend to hire the employee permanently upon completion of the training.
The Oakland Career Center will pre-screen potential candidates to match your specific needs. You make the hiring decision. We just refer the qualified candidates.
