"Please allow me to draw your attention to Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Assn recently released report, Follow the Money, that exposes waste, fraud and abuse of almost a half of a trillion taxpayer dollars. It cites $440 million meant to haul trash that will likely never be used, a group of doctors defrauding Medicare of $147 million by submitting false claims for prescription drugs and $175 million in the UC of CA’s budget reserve funds that were hidden and have not been used."
