DOT Extends the Period for Comments of Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program

On September 6, 2012, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), ''Disadvantaged Business Enterprise: Program Implementation Modifications'' in the Federal Register. In that NPRM, DOT proposed various modifications of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, including four proposed modifications to existing and/or new information collections. DOT has extended the period for comments on the NPRM from November 5, 2012 to December 24, 2012.
