TES (Tractor Equipment Sales, Inc.) Announces Asset Management Group to Expand its Product Line and Service Options
(San Jose, CA, August 16) TES, Tractor Equipment Sales, Inc., the only remaining CASE authorized dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area, has announced its decision to move beyond the traditional dealer relationship in favor of more flexible options for its customers. TES reached this mutual agreement with CASE last week.
“TES will continue to fully support, service, and maintain our existing customer fleet,” says Jim White, CEO of Tractor Equipment Sales. “But, now we will also obtain, sell, and service a full range of select OEM products and parts. From a customer standpoint, the only thing that changes is our ability to provide more equipment options and a range of customized, big-picture business solutions.”
To do this, TES is rolling out its new Asset Management Group, developed to consolidate the costly and complex requirements of equipment acquisition, financing, operations, compliance, maintenance, and remarketing.
“Equipment management alone is an increasing difficult and time-consuming task for any contracting business,” says White. “Our Asset Management Group works with customers to improve efficiency by helping them standardize routine tasks and operations, reducing the time and energy needed to address those tasks.”
Starting as early as the pre-bid process, the Asset Management Group arranges fully customized financing, leasing, and trade-in packages and consults on strategic decisions regarding capital expenditure and return on investment.
TES then raises the bar on off-road equipment sales and service by providing a one-stop program to oversee each phase of equipment ownership, including: compliance and risk management, insurances, inspections, emissions and Cal/EPA reporting, service-due notifications, daily run-time logs, field maintenance and parts replacement, and even implementation of the new Carl Moyer off-road voucher program. The program gives customers back time to stay focused on the bigger picture issues that make and keep them competitive.
White, who came on board as CEO of TES in October 2009, has a career history of helping companies optimize resources to run their businesses more profitably. He brings to his position several decades of international business experience, including his leadership as CEO of Blount World Trade Corporation, Vice-President and Division Manager with Ingersoll Rand Equipment Corporation, Owner and Managing Director of ACEC Centrifugal Pumps NV, Belgium, then as Founder and CEO of JL White International, Inc., a full-service management consulting firm in Monterey, CA.
“What we are providing,” says White, “is a new menu of fleet management solutions. What we are doing is creating a new model for running a profitable contracting business in today’s construction industry.”
