If your workers comp policy with State Fund renews October 1, it’s time to request your renewal quote thru Group 825.

As a member of the Bay Area Builders Exchange, you may be eligible for a 6% group discount through our group program with the State Compensation Insurance Fund.

If your annual workers comp premium exceeds $8700.00,  it pays to be member of the Bay Area Builders Exchange.

Contact your broker, or just forward this article to your insurance agent to see if you are eligible to join Builders Exchange Group 825.  If you are not currently working with a broker, call the Exchange to arrange a quote for your firm.

If you are an individual State Fund policyholder, consider converting to a group program at renewal and discover the savings.

Savings Advantages

All group policies receive a 6 percent discount. Because this group discount is combinable with other State Fund discounts, employers save more on their premiums.

Contractors with low payroll save by paying a reduced group minimum premium.

Because of a group’s mandatory loss-control threshold, contractors have an added incentive to create safer workplaces and decrease their claims costs and experience modifications.

Group policyholders may also benefit from additional claims-management services, safety certification and training resources.

Joining a group program is a simple way for employers to get more from their workers’ compensation coverage.
