The Alameda County Public Works Agency (ACPWA) and East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) are offering a FREE workshop series for small & local construction contractors interested in breaking into public works contracting or growing their business in the public contracting sector.
The first session was held Saturday, October 8th and included presentations by the Alameda County Public Works Department, EBMUD, and the Bay Area Builders Exchange.
Scott Leary, executive director of the Bay Area Builders Exchange, provided an outline of the community resources available through the Builders Exchange and a demonstration of the CalBX.com statewide online plan room.

- Project Estimating and Bonding
Saturday, October 15th, 8 am to 12 pm
- Project Estimating Details and Bid Strategies
Saturday, October 22nd, 8 am to 12 pm
Breakfast & course materials will be provided FREE for all participants. Attendees can expect to gain in-depth knowledge of public works contracting from experienced industry professionals.
